William McClung

William was born on April 11th, 1772. William's father was William McClung and his mother was Abigail Dickinson. His paternal grandparents were John McClung and Rebecca Stuart. He had six brothers and four sisters, named John, James, Joseph, Charles, Samuel, Alexander, Catherine, Mary, Abigail Dickinson and Janet. He was the third oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 81 on April 30th, 1853 in Meadow Bluff,,WV.

‌William and Jane were married in a religious ceremony on November 27th, 1797. They had five sons and five daughters, named Alderson, Alexander, John Monroe, Carroll, George Augustus, Mary, Abigail, Caroline, Margaret and Sarah Jane.
