John Monroe McClung

John Monroe was born in 1806. John Monroe's father was William McClung and his mother was Jane Alderson. His paternal grandparents were William McClung and Abigail Dickinson. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Alderson, Alexander, Carroll, George Augustus, Mary, Abigail, Caroline, Margaret and Sarah Jane. He was the third oldest of the ten children.
