Charles McClung

Charles was born on December 20th, 1805.  Charles' father was Joseph McClung and his mother was Elizabeth Hyde.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph McClung and Unknown Bell. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Franklin, Nancy, Jane, Eleanor, Elizabeth Moore and Lucinda Davidson.  He was the oldest of the eight children. He had a half-sister named Margaret.  He died at the age of 59 on October 8th, 1865 in ,Greenbriar,VA.

‌Charles and Nancy Black were married in a religious ceremony on February 22nd, 1832.  They had four sons and four daughters, named Cyrus Hyde, Samuel Kyle, Alpheus Paris, William Frank, Rebecca, Mary Elizabeth, Lucy and Ellen.
