Alpheus Paris was born on June 10th, 1840. Alpheus Paris' father was Charles McClung and his mother was Nancy Black McClung. His paternal grandparents were Joseph McClung and Elizabeth Hyde; his maternal grandparents were Alexander McClung and Jane McClung. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Cyrus Hyde, Samuel Kyle, William Frank, Rebecca, Mary Elizabeth, Lucy and Ellen. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children.General Notes
