Julia Emmaline Hulbert 
Julia Emmaline was born on February 18th, 1879 in Topeka,Kansas. Julia Emmaline's father was Clinton Raymond Hulbert and her mother was Emma Rosella Myers. Her paternal grandparents were Oren S Hulbert and Julia Ann Ames; her maternal grandparents were Isaac Henry Myers and Emeline Ingledue. She had six brothers and eight sisters, named Charles Ray, Clinton Jr, William Isaac, Walter, Raymond E, John Wesley, Jennie Amanda, Mary Etta, Loretta, Emma, Ruby, Ruth, Harriett L and Eleanor M. She was the second oldest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 93 on August 25th, 1972 in Joliet,Will Co,Illinois. BIOGRAPHY: Brought to Channahon, IL, about 1885. Worked in her father's store and post office before getting married. Lived for a while with her grandmotherHelen Dirst Hulbert and attended school in Minooka, IL. She then went to the Liza Kelly School in Joliet. Julia & Will lived with Will's mother for 11 yearsbefore moving into a house of their own (about 1908). About 1962 Julia moved in with her son Charles Edgar, and lived there until her death at the age of 93.
BIOGRAPHY: 1900 census lists her place of birth as Illinois, 1910 & 1920 census list her place of birth as Michigan. 1930 census lists it as Kansas.
BIOGRAPHY: Letter from the Social Security Administration - "I am enclosing a copy of the original application for a Social Security number for the above person, as requested. The 9638 application for a Social Security number shows the account number 345-12-0583, which is her husband's number. Her correct Social Security number is 324-56-6577. She never had a Social Security number before she filed a claim for benefits under her husband's Social Security number." Theapplication was made 20 Jun 1972, just 2 months before her death. She listed her place of birth as Topeka, Kansas.
