BIOGRAPHY: Civil War Record - enlisted 4 March 1865 Co H, 10th Regiment Michigan Cavalry, commanded by Capt E P Byerly. Discharged 11 Nov 1865 at Memphis, TN. Suffered sunstroke on 4 July 1865 near Lenoir Station, TN, in hospital at Chattanooga for a month. Claim for military pension due to effects of sunstroke and also rheumatism.

BIOGRAPHY: 1880 census Grand Haven, Ottawa Co, MI - listed as Isak Meyer, 43, farmer, born PA, parents born PA.
