William Millard Long 
William Millard was born on April 19th, 1876 in Aurora,Kane Co,Illinois. William Millard's father was Stephen Dennis Long and his mother was Anna Kirkpatrick. His maternal grandparents were William Kirkpatrick and Barbara R Campbell. He had a brother and four sisters, named Elmer E, Mary Jane, Elizabeth, Margaret J and Ella. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 77 on May 15th, 1953 in Channahon,Will Co,Illinois. He was buried in Willard Grove Cemetery,Channahon,Will Co,Illinois.General Notes
BIOGRAPHY: Lived most of his life in Channahon, Will Co, IL. Worked as a blacksmith but couldn't earn a living. Went to work in a steel mill in Joliet, but a back injury forced him to leave. Opened and operated a gas/service station in Channahon until turning it over to his oldest son Robert. Was town clerk of Channahon for a while.
