Mary Jane was born on January 5th, 1858 in Machias,Cattaraugus Co,New York. Mary Jane's father was Stephen Dennis Long and her mother was Anna Kirkpatrick. Her maternal grandparents were William Kirkpatrick and Barbara R Campbell. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Elmer E, William Millard, Elizabeth, Margaret J and Ella. She was the oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 70 on May 12th, 1928 in Joliet,Will Co,Illinois. She was buried in Willard Grove Cemetery,Channahon,Will Co,Illinois.1 General Notes
