Charles Ray was born on February 22nd, 1881 in Topeka,Kansas. Charles Ray's father was Clinton Raymond Hulbert and his mother was Emma Rosella Myers. His paternal grandparents were Oren S Hulbert and Julia Ann Ames; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Henry Myers and Emeline Ingledue. He had five brothers and nine sisters, named Clinton Jr, William Isaac, Walter, Raymond E, John Wesley, Jennie Amanda, Julia Emmaline, Mary Etta, Loretta, Emma, Ruby, Ruth, Harriett L and Eleanor M. He was the third oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 64 on September 29th, 1945 in Joliet,Will Co,Illinois.1 General Notes
