Mary was born on October 17th, 1837 in Shelby,IN. Mary's father was Nathan Goodrich and her mother was Mary Louden. Her paternal grandparents were William Goodrich and Catherine Brothers; her maternal grandparents were David Louden and UNKNOWN Susan. She had five brothers and two sisters, named James M., Marcellus, Harry, George A., Thomas Edward, Phoebe J. and Nancy Kate. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 23 on October 6th, 1861 in Shelby,IN.General Notes
