Martha Black 
Martha was born on June 2nd, 1794. Martha's father was Alexander Black and her mother was Jane Crockett. Her paternal grandparents were William Black and Sarah Hicklin; her maternal grandparents were James Crockett and Martha Gay. She had six brothers and a sister, named William, James, Alexander, John, Samuel C, Harrison M and Sarah. She was the oldest of the eight children.-
