Jane was born on February 20th, 1815 in ,Woodford County,KY. Jane's father was James Black and her mother was Abigail A. R. Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Black and Ann Spears. She had six brothers and four sisters, named David, Robert, John, Samuel, James, William, Ann Spears, Esther, Martha and Elizabeth. She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 73 on June 10th, 1888 in ,Woodford County,KY.-
