Elizabeth was born on January 29th, 1825 in ,Woodford County,KY. Elizabeth's father was James Black and her mother was Abigail A. R. Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Black and Ann Spears. She had six brothers and four sisters, named David, Robert, John, Samuel, James, William, Ann Spears, Esther, Martha and Jane. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 87 on April 17th, 1912 in ,Woodford County,KY.General Notes
