Sybil Sidney was born in 1810. Sybil Sidney's father was Jabez Ames and her mother was Elizabeth Smith. Her paternal grandparents were William Ames (Eames) and Margaret UNKNOWN; her maternal grandfather was Nemiah Smith. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Nehemia, Martin, Absalom, George, Dorsey Pentecost, William, John, Hannah and Anna. She was the youngest of the ten children.General Notes
