William Allen Zike 
William Allen was born in 1800 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. William Allen's father was Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and his mother was Katherine Lucinda Avey. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John, David, Jacob, Joseph, Jacob, Susannah, Sarah and Esther. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 51 in 1851 in McLean County, Illinois. He was buried in 1851 in McLean County, Illinois.General Notes
William inherited his father's farm on the condition he live with his
mother, Katherine, until her death. He sold out around 1844 and moved to
McLean County, Illinois where he lived until his death.
