John Zike 
John was born on March 5th, 1828 in Indiana. John's father was John Zike and his mother was Susannah Smith. His paternal grandparents were Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and Katherine Lucinda Avey. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Jacob, David, James, Henry, William, Isaac, Mary Ann, Matilda and Hester Ann. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 66 on October 4th, 1894 in Morgan County, Indiana.-
