Jacob Zike 
Jacob was born in 1814 in Jassamine County, Kentucky. Jacob's father was John Zike and his mother was Susannah Smith. His paternal grandparents were Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and Katherine Lucinda Avey. He had six brothers and three sisters, named David, James, Henry, John, William, Isaac, Mary Ann, Matilda and Hester Ann. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died in W. Clearsprings, Lawrence, Indiana. He was buried in Zike Family Cemetery.-
