Edward Smith 
Edward was born on October 30th, 1921 in Monroe Co., Indiana. Edward's father was Dalton "Dalty" J. Smith and his mother was Dessa Deckard. His paternal grandparents were William Smith and Alice Chambers; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Deckard and Mary Polly Ann Kinser. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Alfred, Lanford, Mabel, Edith, Inez and Thelma Pauline. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died before 1991.-

Edward and Lottie Grace were married in a religious ceremony on January 12th, 1946 in Monroe County, Indiana. They had two sons and a daughter, named Living, Living and Living.
