Isham Eads 
Isham was born in 1800 in Virginia. Isham's father was Henry Eads and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth Sailors. His paternal grandparents were Henry Eads and Mary ?. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named William Gibson, Henry, Jonathon, John, Elijah, James, Phoebe, Mary, Elizabeth, Margaret, Katie, Frances and Catherine. He was the youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 55 in 1855 in Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes
The original Eads family farm was located in the area where Lake Monroe
now covers. Isham was a farmer and was paid to make moonshine for the
government for use by the troops.
There is suppose to be a place that they lived that still has the base
for one of the stills that is located in Monroe County.
Isham and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony about 1816 in Kentucky. They had a son and two daughters, named William, Catharine and Elizabeth Jane.

Catharine Eads
Catharine was born in 1817 in Kentucky. She died at the age of 89 on June 26th, 1906 in Monroe Co., Indiana.
William Eads
William was born in 1820 in Lawrence Co., Indiana. He died at the age of 44 on April 26th, 1864 in General Hospital, Chattanooga, Tennessee. He was buried in National Cemetery, Chattanooga, Tennessee.
