Phoebe Eads 
Phoebe was born about 1781 in Kent Co., Maryland. Phoebe's father was Henry Eads and her mother was Sarah Elizabeth Sailors. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Eads and Mary ?. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named William Gibson, Henry, Jonathon, John, Elijah, James, Isham, Mary, Elizabeth, Margaret, Katie, Frances and Catherine. She was the fourth oldest of the fourteen children.
‌Phoebe and William were married in a religious ceremony on February 17th, 1800 in Harrison Co., Kentucky. They had eight sons and four daughters, named Samuel, William, James E., Lewis Deweese, David, Gibson, Henry, Jonathan, Mary, Elizabeth, Lucinda and Jane.
