William McClure 
William was born on May 1st, 1802 in Rock Springs, near Cynthiana, Ky. William's father was William McClure and his mother was Phoebe Eads. His maternal grandparents were Henry Eads and Sarah Elizabeth Sailors. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Samuel, James E., Lewis Deweese, David, Gibson, Henry, Jonathan, Mary, Elizabeth, Lucinda and Jane. He was the second oldest of the twelve children.-
