Edith Smith 
Edith was born on October 14th, 1912. Edith's father was Dalton "Dalty" J. Smith and her mother was Dessa Deckard. Her paternal grandparents were William Smith and Alice Chambers; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Deckard and Mary Polly Ann Kinser. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Alfred, Lanford, Edward, Mabel, Inez and Thelma Pauline. She was the third oldest of the seven children.-
