William Scott 
William was born on January 6th, 1815 in Jessamine County, Kentucky. William's father was James Scott and his mother was Susannah Zike. His maternal grandparents were Jacob "Zeuch" Zike and Katherine Lucinda Avey. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, John Park Curtis, Mitilda, Melinda and Margaret Catherine. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had five half-brothers named Jacob Botkins, Infant, Infant, Benjzmin Franklin and Alexander. He died at the age of 50 on September 23rd, 1865 in Jackson County, Indiana. He was buried in Clearsprings Cemetery, Jackson Co., Indiana.-
