Hall and Belle Marie Shields; his maternal grandparents were Henry Eads and Nancy M. Duncan. He had two sisters named Margaret and Mildred A.. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 45 on February 7th, 1961 in Monroe County, Indiana. He was buried in Clear Creek Cemetery, Clear Creek, Monroe Co., Indiana.-
