Leonard Buck Deckard 
Leonard Buck was born in June 1899 in Chapel Hill, Monroe Co., Indiana. Leonard Buck's father was George Washington Deckard and his mother was Martha Mize. His paternal grandparents were John Wesley Deckard and Malissa Eads. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Clarence Jackie, Lawrence Brigham, Floyd Washington Jake, General Sanford, Hobert "Hobie", Ollie, Sarah, Rosetta and Eva Jane. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.-
