Curtis Cecil's father was King Anthony Mone Deckard and his mother was Mary Mol Jane Eads. His paternal grandparents were John Stewart and Elizabeth Deckard; his maternal grandparents were Elijah Eads and Laura Alice Sexton. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Herbert, Marshal, Otto S., Ora, Dillon, Golda Verge, Cordillia and Gertrude Alice. He had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Marion, Eli, Robert, Melvina, Mary Ellen, Jane and Sissie Mollie. He died on September 5th, 1996 in Bedford, Lawrence Co., Indiana. He was buried in Mt. Ebal Cemetery, Monroe Co., Indiana.General Notes
