Cordillia was born on March 1st, 1895 in Allens Creek, Polk Twp., Monroe Co., Indiana. Cordillia's father was King Anthony Mone Deckard and her mother was Mary Mol Jane Eads. Her paternal grandparents were John Stewart and Elizabeth Deckard; her maternal grandparents were Elijah Eads and Laura Alice Sexton. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Herbert, Marshal, Otto S., Ora, Dillon, Curtis Cecil, Golda Verge and Gertrude Alice. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Marion, Eli, Robert, Melvina, Mary Ellen, Jane and Sissie Mollie. She died at the age of 55 on July 20th, 1950 in Bloomington, Monroe Co., Indiana.-
