Bertha Deckard 
Bertha was born in January 1885. Bertha's father was Napoleon Budd Deckard and her mother was Elizabeth Mize. Her paternal grandparents were John Wesley Deckard and Malissa Eads; her maternal grandparents were William Mize and Sarah Kinser. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James H., Homer L., Ora, Anna Lova, Maude P., Bearly Pearl and Flora. She was the second oldest of the eight children.General Notes
