Alias:<ALIA> /Frank/ Franz came to the U.S. at the age of 28 with his wife Rosa and children Martha and infant Franz. They arrived August 11, 1891 on the ship Muenchen from Bremen to Baltimore. Frank and Rosa had their 3rd child 1 month after arriving here in 1891. In Dec. 1892 they had a set of twin boys. In June 1895 they had a set of twin girls. According to the 1900 census, Frank was a shoemaker. Later on he worked at the Indianapolis Abatoir until he retired. Franz could speak 7 languages, play piano, violin, and both the button and piano accordions. He was also an expert beer and wine maker. Franz and Rosa had lots of parties and were really great dancers.
