David Hix 
David was born in 1785 in VA. David's father was William Hix and his mother was Hannah Garrad\Jarrett. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Hicks and Melvina Cole; his maternal grandfather was David Jacob Garrad\Jarrett. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Joseph Stephen, Ellis, Achilles, Thomas, William, John, Jesse, Elizabeth and Mary. He died at the age of 73 in 1858 in Putnam Co,WV.
David and Mildred were married in a religious ceremony on March 3rd, 1805 in Kanawha Co,WV. They had six sons named George, Ahas, Achilles, Merritt, David and John.
