Joseph Ellis BARKER 
Joseph Ellis was born in 1839 in ,Boone,Virginia. Joseph Ellis' father was John R BARKER and his mother was Diana ELLIS. His paternal grandparents were Isaac BARKER and Spicy SCOTT; his maternal grandparents were John ELLIS and Eleanor EAGEN. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Amos, Daniel Franklin, Charles William, John Thomas, Isaac Lee, Minerva, Martha Emeline, Mary Ellen, Sarah Lewis, Amanda Elizabeth, Virginia Gertrude and Louvenia Newman. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 75 on July 9th, 1914 in ,Boone,West Virginia.-
