Charles William was born in 1850 in Boone,Virginia. Charles William's father was John R BARKER and his mother was Diana ELLIS. His paternal grandparents were Isaac BARKER and Spicy SCOTT; his maternal grandparents were John ELLIS and Eleanor EAGEN. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph Ellis, Amos, Daniel Franklin, John Thomas, Isaac Lee, Minerva, Martha Emeline, Mary Ellen, Sarah Lewis, Amanda Elizabeth, Virginia Gertrude and Louvenia Newman. He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 44 on February 14th, 1894.-
