Amos BARKER 
Amos was born on October 26th, 1844 in ,Boone,Virginia. Amos' father was John R BARKER and his mother was Diana ELLIS. His paternal grandparents were Isaac BARKER and Spicy SCOTT; his maternal grandparents were John ELLIS and Eleanor EAGEN. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named Joseph Ellis, Daniel Franklin, Charles William, John Thomas, Isaac Lee, Minerva, Martha Emeline, Mary Ellen, Sarah Lewis, Amanda Elizabeth, Virginia Gertrude and Louvenia Newman. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 81 on June 11th, 1926.-
