Nancy Sibley 
Nancy was born on August 17th, 1808 in Mecklenburg County, NC.1 Nancy's father was Elijah Sibley and her mother was Mary Clay. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Sibley and Jerusha Chandler; her maternal grandparents were James Clay and Margaret Muse. She had seven brothers and three sisters, named Coleman, Gabriel, John H, Alexander B, Elijah M, William Clay, James, Mary, Sarah and Elizabeth. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 44 on April 25th, 1853 in Union County, NC. She was buried in Secrest Cemetery, Union County, NC.1 1 -
