Charles Clay 
Charles was born in 1675 in Dale Parish, Chesterfield, Virginia and his baptism took place in 1675 in Chesterfield County, Virginia.1 Charles' father was Charles Clay and his mother was Hannah Wilson. His paternal grandparents were John Clay and Anne Unknown; his maternal grandfather was John Wilson. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Henry, John, Thomas, Judith, Mary and Elizabeth.
