Alexander B Sibley 
Alexander B was born in 1803 in Mecklenburg, North Carolina.1 Alexander B's father was Elijah Sibley and his mother was Mary Clay. His paternal grandparents were Robert Sibley and Jerusha Chandler; his maternal grandparents were James Clay and Margaret Muse. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Coleman, Gabriel, John H, Elijah M, William Clay, James, Mary, Sarah, Nancy and Elizabeth. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 35 in 1838 in Mathews, , Virginia.2 -
