William Yocum 
William was born on July 16th, 1801 in Montgomery Co, KY.1 William's father was Jacob Preston Yocum and his mother was Nancy Keeton. His paternal grandparents were John Yocum and Mary (Yocum). He had six brothers and six sisters, named Jonathon, James, George W, Solomon, Jacob Preston, Hervy, Mary W, Eliza B, Elizabeth, Manurvy, Katherine and Celia Ann.
