George W Yocum 
George W was born on April 6th, 1808 in Montgomery Co, KY.1 George W's father was Jacob Preston Yocum and his mother was Nancy Keeton. His paternal grandparents were John Yocum and Mary (Yocum). He had six brothers and six sisters, named William, Jonathon, James, Solomon, Jacob Preston, Hervy, Mary W, Eliza B, Elizabeth, Manurvy, Katherine and Celia Ann. He was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 25 on July 21st, 1833 in KY.1 General Notes

a relative East of Macomb, Illinois and had brought it back to his
home hear Bynumville, MO and and kept it for a short time. The Bible
is probably still in that neighborhood (Illinois)." Copy of memo
given to Gregg Kinney by Joyce Hagerty in September 1996. Joyce
received her copy from Georgia Kelsey.
