Jacob Preston Yocum 
Jacob Preston was born on July 16th, 1819 in KY.1 Jacob Preston's father was Jacob Preston Yocum and his mother was Nancy Keeton. His paternal grandparents were John Yocum and Mary (Yocum). He had six brothers and six sisters, named William, Jonathon, James, George W, Solomon, Hervy, Mary W, Eliza B, Elizabeth, Manurvy, Katherine and Celia Ann. He was the second youngest of the thirteen children. He died about 1870.1 General Notes

Augustus C. Yocum, Warren's father, had seen the Bible while visiting
a relative East of Macomb, Illinois and had brought it back to his
home hear Bynumville, MO and and kept it for a short time. The Bible
is probably still in that neighborhood (Illinois)." Copy of memo
given to Gregg Kinney by Joyce Hagerty in September 1996. Joyce
received her copy from Georgia Kelsey.
