Alice de Clare 
Alice de was born in 1121 in Tunbridge Castle, Kent, England.1 Alice de's father was Richard (FitzGilbert) de Clare and her mother was Alice de Meschines. Her paternal grandparents were Gilbert FitzRichard de CLARE and Adeliza Alice de CLERMONT; her maternal grandparents were Ranulph le MESCHIN and Lucy CHESTER. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Gilbert Fitzrichard de, Richard FitzGilbert de, Roger de, Adeliza de and Rohese de. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Roger de and Isabel de. She died at the age of 45 in 1166 in England.1 General Notes
