Richard Rollisson (Rollinson)

Richard was born in 1820 in Halton Yorkshire and his baptism took place on May 14th, 1820 in Whitkirk.^1 2

Richard's father was William Rollisson and his mother was Mary Pickersgill.  His paternal grandparents were John Rollison and Ann Milner; his maternal grandparents were John Pickersgill and Sarah Jagger. He had a brother named Charles.  He died at the age of 60 in 1880.

‌Richard and Sophia were married in a religious ceremony on August 30th, 1852 in Leeds by Edw. Jackson, Clerk in Orders and witnessed by Charles Rollisson, Rachel Hemingway.⁶
