Sophia Marshall Hemingway

Sophia was born in 1827 in Leeds and her baptism took place on December 23rd, 1827 in St Peter Leeds, Yorkshire.¹²

Birth Notes

Sophia's father was John Hemingway and her mother was Ellen Marshall. Her maternal grandparents were John Marshall and Sophia Senier. She had two brothers and five sisters, named William, Isaac, Ann, Elizabeth, Ellen, Mary and Rachel. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 66 in 1893.
