Sophia Senier

Sophia was born after 1771 and her baptism took place on October 29th, 1771 in Cawthorne by Barnsley.¹

Sophia's father was George Senior (Taylor) and her mother was Rachel Naylor (of Cawthorne).  Her paternal grandparents were George Senior (of Silkston) and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were William Nailor and Mary Moore. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Timothy, Isaac, Ebenezer, JOHN, William, Zacharias, Mary and Jennet.  She died in 1844.  She was buried on February 12th, 1844 in Cawthorne S Yorkshire.² 

‌Sophia and John were married in a religious ceremony on April 8th, 1788 in Cawthorne by Barnsley.³   They had three sons and five daughters, named George, John, Timothy, Mary, Ellen, Rachael, Susannah and Sophia.
