Ann was born after 1758 in Halton Yorkshire and her baptism took place on July 23rd, 1758 in Whitkirk, Yorkshire. Ann's father was John Milner and her mother was Elizabeth Standerell.  Her maternal grandparents were John Standerell and Judith Skelton. She had two brothers and a sister, named John, William and Grace.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died in 1824.  She was buried on October 3rd, 1824 in St Mary, Whitkirk, Yorkshire West Riding, England.1

‌Ann and John were married in a religious ceremony on September 1st, 1776 in Whitkirk, Yorkshire.2  They had three sons and six daughters, named Thomas, John, William, Sarah, Ann, Rachel, Mary, Elizabeth and Grace.
