Eliza Mitchell

Eliza was born in 1815 in le Ashton and her baptism took place on January 22nd, 1815 in Steeple Ashton.

Eliza's father was Thomas Mitchell and her mother was Betty dJoshua Beaven.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles Mitchel and Elizabeth; her maternal grandparents were Joshua Bevan and Ann Summers. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Job, Daniel, Emanuel, Anna, Eleanor and Eliza.  She was the youngest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named George, Joan, Mary, Jane and Ann.
