Lizzie Edith was born on January 19th, 1875. Lizzie Edith's father was Joseph CURTHOYS and her mother was Eliza LANCASTER.  Her paternal grandfather is James CURTHOYS and her paternal grandmother was Elizabeth CURTHOYS; her maternal grandparents are Joseph LANCASTER and Ann Eliza COXHEAD. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Joseph Henry, Edwin William, Alfred George, unnamed twin, Lizzie Ellen, Matilda Emily, Ada Ellen and Alice Maude.  She was the youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 77 on November 25th, 1952 in Caulifield.1
