Charles was a "Cartowner" at the time Mary married.. 1829 - 1916 Emma Sudlow 87 87 Surname Sadler only based on one marriage record, and appears to be after son John born.  GRO has MMN = SUDLOW 1856 Thomas Batho Thomas was a Coal Carrier in Maplas in 1881 1868 George Batho 1852 John Batho John's born before Charles and Emma are married, so may be of different parent or parents, possibly George Batho and Mary for which there is a christening record in Malpas, 1852.

In 1871, John (age 19) has left home and is working as a servant in Staffordshire.  He remained in Staffordshire and by 1881 and 1891 he is married to Elizabeth, with children Mary, Charles, Florence, Edith, Frederick, Richard and George. 1865 Charles Batho 1873 - 1874 William Batho 1 1 1819 Martha Batho Married James Wynne in Malpas in 1844 1821 Jane Batho 1822 - 1898 Henry Batho 76 76 Henry married Mary Fogg, and moved to Birkenhead, Cheshire.
