In 1881, Thomas (widow) was living with brother Charles and Mary and baby Ann J.

7 Apr 1883, Thomas (28, wid) son of George married Ellen Goodman Roberts (21) at Birkenhead 1851 - 1874 Margaret Edwards 23 23 in Q1 1874, Margaret died, aged 23. 1870 - 1946 William Thomas Brereton 75 75 Other than George and Jane Brereton in the 1830/40s and very early Breretone, William and Ellen are the only other Brereton family to have (some of) their children baptised at Tilston.

In 1896, when Margaret was baptised, the family were at Farndon, Thomas a labourer.

From 1898, they lived at Tilston Green, Malpas (shown on most baptism records as simply Tilston, Bricklayer)
