Mary Brereton

Mary was born in 1737 in Nantwich and her christening took place there on March 12th, 1737.¹

  The image (lower right corner) of the Nantwich register for 1737 shows "Mary Daughter of Sandford Brereton Hatter" but there is no date (as corner of the page is damaged), so the 12th muse be from anotheer copy. (Mary was buried 19/05/1739)

Mary's father was Sandford Brereton and her mother was Elizabeth Dale. Her paternal grandparents were Sandford Brereton and Lydia Turner; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Dale and Elizabeth Horton. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Sandford, Thomas, William, Alexander, Lydia, Margaret and Sarah. She died at the age of 2 in May 1739 in Nantwich. Her burial was on May 19th, 1739 in Nantwich.¹
