In 1911, George (32) was recorded as marrried to Emily. They were living at Gilstead, Thingwall.
Minnie Hopkins, George's sister-in-law liked George and said he was a wonderful artist.
In 1921, George (b.Bingley, 1879), Emily Sophia (b.1878) and their son George (b.1919) were still living at Thingwall, Wirral.

George (sometimes known as Georgie) was an only child.. He was in the RAF during the war, and then emigrated to South Africa after WW2 (Feb 1947), where he set up a business and married Joy out there.
George and Joy had no children.
26 Feb 1947, G F Stocks (aged 27) departed Southampton for Cape Town on the Carnarvon Castle.
About 1980, George and Joy left South Africa and went to live in Spain.
George was alive in 1989, traveling from Spain to visit his cousins in England
